While I was learning how to install PHP and Moodle on Windows I was fortunate enough to find some other excellent resources on the internet that explained the various aspects of installing PHP and Moodle. I put all of the knowledge from those resources together to create this web site.

The best resources for installing Moodle are the Moodle web site, the Moodle Documentation web site and the Moodle Forums. You should spend some time on these sites before you go anywhere else. However, these sites do contain a lot of information and instructions that are targeted mostly at MySQL, Linux and Apache and it can get a bit confusing when you're trying to install Moodle on MSSQL, Windows 2003 and IIS.

A good place to start is to read the following documentation from the Moodle developers:

• Finally, you should also visit the Windows-based servers forum and other forums on a regular basis.
